Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea)

Grey Heron hunting for food on the River Weaver Cheshire.



The opening shot shows off the zoom of my little camcorder... you can also hear me capturing still shots.
It isn't the most graceful lunge to try to catch a fish... the walk of shame afterwards was fun to watch.

    Lovely sequence Andrew. It spent all that time and patience on catching a meal and all it got was a dunking!
    The walk of shame is classic.....'nothing to do with me'...'it wasn't me' There was no need to worry though, I don't think anybody was watching...lol...[;o)
