Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus)

A short video clip of the mating Great Crested Grebes on the River Weaver.
The female has got her mating platform ready... she just has to get the male to respond.


No luck for the poor lass as I was recording this clip...
... it made me smile watching her plopping herself down in anticipation.
